Bio

Teddy Chen is a Ph.D. student in Quantitative Psychology at the University of California, Davis, working with Dr. Mijke Rhemtulla. Her research currently focuses on psychological measurement, particularly how issues like sample size imbalance, measurement invariance, and model misfit affect inference in structural equation models. Teddy enjoys thinking about both the technical and conceptual sides of measurement, how we build models, and what they really tell us about psychological constructs. Outside of research, Teddy tends a garden plot on campus, where she can exhaust her physical body in addition to the rigorous intellectual exercises from day to day graduate school training.
